Humboldt University was the final stop of these five outstanding nights. On the boulevard-walk up to Brandenburger Tor the atrium was a main attraction for a lot spectators.
Thematically we were crossing the bridge between historical content, science and mapping the buildings main-elements and windows.
A mapping and film installation-piece on the surface of the historical building Palais am Festungsgraben - located at "Unter den Linden" in the heart of Berlin.
On the content-side we were collaborating with model Iara Mandyn who´s the world´s only professional waterdancing mermaid model. The underwaterdance was smoothly playing as an allover background while we picked out several elements of the buildings architecture to create mapped colorblocks and wireframe animations in realtime.
The Factory is a historical industrial location on the lower side of the former dam body strip in Prenzlauer Berg.
During the installation, the building was still under construction works, looking rough and edgy like a typical Berlin squadplace. Within 2013 this building is becoming a headquarter for soundcloud and other creative industry branches, so we were mixing soundsreactive content, 3D-mapping-elements and location-realted material.
